Who is responsible
Ronald Telford is responsible for this website, product support, and any hosted licensing or fulfillment service. Paddle acts separately as authorized reseller and merchant of record for purchases processed through Paddle.
Purchase and licensing information
Information may include purchaser and licensed-user name, email, organization, purchase reference, transaction/fulfillment status, license identifier, license status, software version, one-way device/request identifier, computer name when supplied, network address, and activation, replacement, failure, security, and audit timestamps.
Customer work data
FieldFindings assessment projects and WorkplaceFindings investigation cases, evidence, notes, reports, photographs, documents, and account passwords are designed to remain in customer-controlled Windows storage. They are not uploaded to the sales website or license-fulfillment service unless the customer deliberately supplies material through an authorized support arrangement.
Service providers
- Paddle: checkout, payments, tax, fraud prevention, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Railway: website and fulfillment-service hosting, domain/public-edge services, and security logs.
- Email provider: business and customer-support communications.
- Azure storage, if enabled: signed installer downloads and release files—not investigation or assessment records.
Purposes and retention
Information may be used to fulfill purchases, administer licenses, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain audit records, comply with law/provider requirements, and establish or defend legal rights. Records are retained only as reasonably needed for those purposes, legal/accounting duties, disputes, security events, chargebacks, and administration of perpetual licenses.
Security and customer responsibility
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system guarantees absolute security. Customers remain responsible for protecting computers, data folders, backups, passwords, recovery material, exports, prints, and legal compliance for work records.
